Because of its ubiquitous nature; close-up scenes of flowers and plant life constitutes a significant portion of my work. I find myself drawn to compositions of plants and flowers with interesting backdrops, containing nestled foreign objects, creepy crawlers and fetching geometry. Oh BS!!! Most photographers take pictures of flowers because they are pretty and sell. Any truthful photographer will also freely admit that they take pictures of flora and fauna because they are scared of people. Flowers don't smirk at you, wave a single finger or turn away when you try to steal their digital soul with a camera. It is hard to look into a strangers eyes and snap their image. Flowers don't ever wear glasses.
